Branded Selfie Sticks used for a clever marketing strategy

Packme collaborated with Coca-Cola and TGi Friday’s to produce branded selfie sticks, incorporating both brand’s logos. These selfie sticks were to be used within all TGi Friday’s restaurants. The function of the selfie stick was to enhance the lively atmosphere and improve the customer experience whilst dining.

Servers and guests were encouraged to interact with one another and create some exciting and long-lasting memories to share on social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram. Once the diners uploaded their images to TGi’s website, they were automatically entered into a weekly ‘best photo’ competition. Both TGi and Coca-Cola benefitted from the data capture, building their customer databases for future promotions and offers, resulting in a very clever marketing strategy.
